Climate Control Strategies in Netherlands
The Netherlands has a big challenge. Much of its land is lower than the sea level. This has made the Dutch people very strong. They have a smart plan for dealing with this. Two Big Problems:
The Netherlands has two main climate problems: the sea level is rising, and the weather is getting worse. Because more than a quarter of the land is below sea level, even a small rise in sea level can cause big floods. Also, heavy rain and strong winds can make things worse. The Dutch know this, so they have two ways to deal with it: making things better and getting ready.
Making Things Better:
First, the Netherlands is working to make things better. They want to produce less greenhouse gas. By 2030, they want to reduce it by 49% compared to what it was in 1990. And by 2050, they want to produce no greenhouse gas at all! They’re doing many things to reach this goal:

The Hard Parts and What’s Next:
